We strive to integrate effective health and safety practices into all of our daily operations. We believe all injuries and serious incidents can be prevented, and the contributing hazards managed effectively.

We achieve our goal of zero reportable incidents through sensible hiring, proactive employee education and communication. Our safety philosophy incorporates involvement and commitment of resources at all levels with the company with the understanding that safety is everyone’s responsibility and a condition of employment. We are proud to work for some of the most safety conscious industrial companies in the country and are regularly audited to assure compliance with their health and safety programs. Cox-Colvin is a current, subscribed contractor of ISNetworld and Avetta.

Our reputation depends on safe and effective execution of environmental projects. Every Cox-Colvin field employee receives training in the following:

• 40-hour HAZWOPER safety training
• Annual 8-hour HAZWOPER updates
• 10-hour OSHA construction training
• OSHA Fall Protection Training
• First Aid CPR and AED Training
• Client site-specific training

• 8-hour HAZWOPER Supervisor Training
• OSHA Confined Space Supervisor Training
• OSHA Confined Space Attendent Training
• Industrial Hygiene Certificate
• Certified Safety Professional
